Church Of Madonna Del Carmine

DEDICATED TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN

The church is dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and seems to have etremely old origins . A popular legend says that the statue was moved from a Torchiara chapel property of the Barons De Conciliis,  to the homonyms resort, yet while then it became so heavy to make impossible to further move E ‘considered the protector of the countryside and livestock.
